We all know that we need to take care of our physical health by eating well and going to the doctor, and take care of our mental health by doing things to reduce stress and seeing a therapist, but what about doing things to take care of our sexual health?

The World Health Organization classifies sexual health as “fundamental to the overall health and well-being of individuals.” This means we should treat our sexual health and well-being the same as any other aspect of our lives that we put care and attention to. This might look like getting tested regularly, engaging in masturbation guilt-free, exploring your sexuality, and seeking treatment for any sexual difficulties.

This weekend, listen to the WHO and prioritize your sexual health, whatever that might look like!
